Launch Physical Therapy & Fitness Coaching is a Rockville-based woman-owned small business that partners with existing charities in the DMV area through our LaunchCARES program with the joint mission to change lives through fitness & wellness.  Launch holds an Annual timed 5k/10k Charity Race to raise funds for our non-profit partners.

 

In 2023 we have chosen the non-profits So What Else and The Greater Rockville Chamber Of Commerce as the recipients of the proceeds from the race.

 

SO WHAT ELSE has been caring for members of our community since 2009. They offer underserved families and children in DC and Maryland after-school programs, summer camps, spring break camps, a well-stocked food & clothing pantry in Rockville, and much more.

THE GREATER ROCKVILLE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE is the voice of the business community in Rockville with a mission to foster an environment for businesses to succeed through leadership, advocacy, and community partnerships.

 

These non-profits are well deserving of our praise, recognition, and financial support.

The 2nd annual LaunchCARES Charity Race will include events for the whole family:

 

• 10K Timed Race - Start time 8:30 am

• 5K Timed Race - Start time 8:45 am

• 1mi Fun Run/Walk -  Start time 9:00 am

• Toddler Trike-a-thon - Start time 9:30 am
