Experience the benefits of indoor cycling on the RealRyder bike, the only bike in the world that moves in all three planes of motion (front to back, side to side, and rotation).
As a result, RealRyder bikes put less stress through your knees, hips, and back. Since a RealRyder moves in all three planes of motion, you need to work harder to stabilize the bike compared to a completely stationary bike. You are forced to incorporate more muscle groups during a LaunchCycle workout than a traditional indoor cycling bike.
The goal of the class is to improve your heart rate variability (HRV), or the time between heartbeats. Good HRV is a clinically proven indicator of overall health, stress, and readiness to train.
Improve your overall fitness in this class by working on your strength, endurance, speed, core stability, and power output. Expect to work, recover, and learn how to breathe properly on the bike.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Be prepared to SWEAT. All participants are equipped with a heart rate monitor during the training session. This allows each participant to objectively transition in and out of various heart rate zones during a workout to maximize HRV. Over time, you can assess your progress by seeing how many revolutions/minute you are doing on the bike at a given heart rate. More revolutions/minute at the same heart rate means you are increasing your work capacity and improving your fitness! All classes are one hour long and are led by an experienced LaunchCycle coach.
